Garden of Life

Firstly, apologies this blog post is almost a month late! Life has kind of taken over this past few weeks, between Neill getting hit by a car and our daughter turning two I have been super busy. Anyway, I wanted to pop this post on to share my experience of the Garden of a life products which I was sent a couple of months back.

I did a little research into the Garden of Life company as to be quite honest I had never heard of them. I was pleased to discover their products contain nothing but real foods, they use absolutely no synthetically created chemicals.

I was sent two products from Garden of Life, the first one I want to talk about is their vitamin C organic spray. Like all Garden of Life products this is vegan friendly, it’s great to know a product is cruelty free. Another added bonus of this product is that it does not contain any added sugar or stevia, it’s a 100% natural. Taste wise, it’s a little bitter but I wouldn’t say unpleasant. I was expecting a nasty after taste but thankfully that didn’t come. Due to the lack of added preservatives this product requires refrigeration after opening and must be used within 60 days. I’m happy to report that I managed to avoid all coughs, colds, flu and bugs whilst taking the vitamin c spray, this surprised me as my workplace has been full of it – both patients and staff! I highly doubt this is coincidental. Before starting the spray I had an awful run of illness (man flu), it definitely helped kick that in the head and got me on the road to recovery.

The second product I received was the B-12 organic vegan spray. This product I LOVE! Like the vitamin c spray it requires refrigeration and must be used within 60 days. The raspberry flavour is lovely, it does contain organic glycerin but in my opinion it is well worth this addition. I have noticed my nails have got a lot stronger since taking the B-12 spray, again I highly doubt this is coincidental as my nails are always rather flimsy. The benefits of taking vitamin B12 are endless, it helps with your mood, prevents fatigue, and promotes a healthy hormonal balance. I’d love to report that I’m bouncy off the walls with energy but I am the proud owner of a toddler who drains the life out of me on a daily basis, so I was never going to feel any major benefit in the energy department.
