Baby Led Weaning – Cinnamon Porridge Fingers




  • 3 level tablespoons porridge oats (substitute for gluten free if your baby has allergies)
  • 3 tablespoons milk (breast, formula & cows milk all work well)
  • Ground cinnamon


In a bowl, soak the oats along with a sprinkle of cinnamon in the milk until you have a mushy mixture

Press the mixture into a small, flat bottomed bowl or dish using the back of a spoon.

Cook in the microwave on high for two minutes or oven cook for 15 minutes at 180c.

Cut into fingers whilst still hot and serve with fresh fruit when cool.





Try pressing some dried fruit such as raisins or sultanas into the top of the mixture before cooking

As a sweet treat, spread a thin layer of a high fruit content jam on the fingers – delicious
