Chicken & Chorizo Crock-Pot Curry

Great for using up store cupboard ingredients, quick and easy to prepare this curry is a winner in our house!



  • 2 x 400g Lidl Italiamo chopped tomatoes with basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic granules
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Splash tobasco sauce
  • Chilli paste to taste (I used a heaped teaspoon for a medium heat)
  • 1 tablespoon tomato purée
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen peppers
  • 1 x chopped onion
  • 2 x large free range chicken breasts
  • 8 slices chorizo chopped





  1. Add chopped tomatoes, herbs, spices, tomato purée and Tabasco to slow cooker dish & stir
  2. Add vegetables & chopped chicken breasts, mix
  3. Quarter chorizo slices, add to mixture and stir
  4. Cook on low for 7 hours
  5. Serve with basmati rice & potato wedges


It’s literally as easy as that, whack it all in and let your slow cooker do the rest!
